The people who are most enthusiastic about gardening happen to be our children.  They love seeds.  They even save seeds from their favorite meals in the hopes they can grow something delicious.  They also love watching plants grow.  Finally, they love anything involving space– the universe, black holes, asteroids, moons, and supernovas to name a few.  Their favorite planet happens to be Earth.  Even though they are so young, they have combined these loves– they love gardening, but they also know that it helps their favorite planet out a little bit.
